I have a severe dust allergy meaning I have to take allergy tablets to be able to sleep in a carpeted bedroom. Even then occasionally the allergy was so bad that I had to leave the room.This device seems to have made a difference after 3 weeks. It has a very bright blue light that can disturb sleep but that can be taped/covered up because it is only an indicator that the device is on. It makes a barely audible noise (I can't hear it) that allegedly interferes with the breeding of dust mites. You have to leave it on at all times though and put it in a position where the sound isn't blocked and most soft furnishings are exposed to it. Results:- Week 1 - small difference but not noticeable as I was taking allergy tablets.- week 2 - noticeable difference. Was able to sleep without taking an allergy tablet.- week 3- significant difference. Can sleep without taking any allergy medication at all.I am planning to buy another one for other carpeted areas.
