Pond Fish Feeding Ring - Floating Fish Food for Koi Carp Goldfish - Pellet/Sticks

The feeder works providing there is no wind. I wondered where mine had gone after a few days and found it at the bottom of my pond. Same happened again and I think it is the wind catching underneath it and then water fills in the groove underneath and the ring sinks. I have resolved this problem by squeezing pipe insulation into the groove and taping it to the ring. Disappointing for the money but it works now. Only three stars because of the cost and design fault.

Does the job

A bit on the small side but will do the job if hand feeding. Has only one lug to feed some thread through to keep in place on surface. I have an automatic feeder for when away, so would have preferred more in case it gets windy and blows it across the pond.

This is a fairly cheap ring and it looks it. IT floats by trapping air under the hollowed out ring. I found that my Koi made it sink when they fed from it by knocking the air out. I fixed it by gluing some foam around in the hollow.Probably be fine for smaller fish.

Does the job, but of you have larger koi, and then disturb the disk it will sink...so not great

I got this to create 'holes in the sky' for the tadpoles in my pond. The idea being that the rings would hold back duckweed and other plant life, so as to provide light and easy access tot he air. They worked so well, I've bought another three!

not suitable for bigger size fish , one knock and over goes all the food
