Gallop Trojan 150g Flexi Combo Stable Rug 6'0" (EU 135cm)

I bought this rug a couple of years ago and absolutely loved it. Last year I couldn't find them anywhere, so I was so happy when I saw them for sale again.I was gutted to find that they have changed the material. The original one I bought was shiny material, once and lightweight and very easily washed. These ones are heavier, none shiny material, so all the shavings stick to it and not as easily washed. Very disappointing, why have they changed the material?

My Fell pony is 14hh but has the body of a horse and the legs of a pony!! This makes him hard to buy for.His stable rug was coming to the end of its life and as I inherited it with him a few years ago I thought that he deserved a new one! He is a veteran now and has had some problems with his back so I like to keep him warm in his stable.This is just the job! It has a neck cover which can be kept back and is held in place with velcro tabs. I am very pleased with it and my pony is cosy in his stable.There are two reasons for taking a star off the scoring and these are;1. After less than a weeks use some of the stitching unravelled. It won't "break" the rug or make it any less efficient I was just disappointed. I expected a bit more wear before things like that went wrong.2. The rug comes with a fillet string but although it was tied on one end, there was no loop the other side to put it through.These are minor gripes as far as I am concerned which is why I only deducted one star.On the whole I am very pleased with this rug and would purchase again as it is a good price. I like the fact that if our temperatures hit -15 again then I have the option of keeping it under his outdoor rug.

Rubbish. Broke after first wear and I was told I could have ten pounds bk!!!Don't bother purchasing this rug it doesn't keep anything warm because straps snap almost immediately!!

So I bought this rug a couple years ago and it was good, seen some recent bad reviews but I loved this rug so much so thought I’d try again 2020, I’ve now got one on all 5 of my horses and although I’ve seen some reviews hay say this isn’t a well made rug that’s not the case for mine at all. All my horses are youngsters and these rugs have been robust and warm and so easy to clean and they don’t slip around like all other stable rugs and fleeces. I wouldn’t use any other rug for in the stable now these do the perfect job and better than rugs we have paid fortunes for.

I’ve bought this to use as a stable rug and it does the job perfectly. It’s a great quality material and fits great. The colour is great and it was delivered much earlier than expected which was really good. It’s also really warm.

I found this to be a great rug and value for money. The rug is lightweight yet provides good heat under the bigger rugs. Also comes in handy when travelling on those colder days and the horse hasn’t ripped it yet which is a miracle.

My horse isn’t a rug destroyer but this rug didn’t last a night! The stitching has all come undone around the Velcro on the front and the hood has started coming undone as well and stuffing falling out.... very very unhappy!!

Excellent value for money. Sizing correct and perfect a lightweight stable rug. It washes well, dries quickly and worn on daily basis and still in excellent condition.
