Sunnydaze Heavy-Duty Black Steel Mesh Fire Pit Spark Screen Cover - 30-Inch Square

This is a good fit for our fire pit. We think it was a good price. After receiving it we believe this is a very good purchase.This screen is nice and sturdy, very breathable for the fire, and good for cutting down on ash drift. The ring on the top is a little small I wish it were a bit larger, however, it works fine as it is.Overall, I think this is a good product with a good price and good at its job. I do recommend this fire pit screen.

Well made. Steel is heavier than I expected it to be---nice surprise. As you can see it is a good looking unit. One person can assemble most of the unit with no help. However. When attaching the hood. You need a second pair of hands to support the hood while you align the holes and start the bolts. The unit does not come with the spark screen or the cover for the pit to keep water out of the bowl when it rains. So I ordered them separately. The cover for the bowl is a cooking grill that is 30 x 30, on top of which I placed a thin rubber mat i got from home depot---cut to size to sit on top of the grate. I got the spark screen from the pit seller because it is partially located under the slat roof of my cedar pergola. I can put the screen on if sparks rise out of the the unit too close to the roof. All in all I am very satisfied with the whole thing. It looks so nice I am almost reluctant to burn anything in it. Fall and winter is getting close though. We will see.

Great fire pit cover.

Quality product. After 4 years the mesh started to break and fall apart. I always keep the pit covered with a cover. I will be ordering another one as this is still the less expensive solution for a 24 inch square mesh

Screen arrived in good condition, but after 2 uses - less than 30 minutes of exposure to natural gas fire pit flames- the protective paint at the top joint began raising and flaking away, leaving bare metal exposed. This lead to immediate rust. The product is not durable and after submitting a ticket to Sunnydaze, we have received no response on how they would remedy the situation. Extremely disappointed as this was not an inexpensive purchase. We expected much more.

I've had since last march, so one year. While it works well... it's completely rusted and won't last much longer. It's also caving in, sorta collapsing into itself as if it has sorta melted down a bit. We use our fire pit for cardboard, paper waste only. We burn approx once per week. I recommend this product, bc there isn't another one that is better as of what I can see here on amazon. We live in a neighborhood in the suburbs so we definitely need the screen to catch particles.

Fits my square firepit perfectly and has stood up to several big blazes. Great comfort feeling to be able to go to bed after a fire and not worry about those last few “pops” causing a problem. No rust so far (2 months, several rains and morning dew). You’ll need some sort of stick or pole to remove it from a hot fire as the hook on top is metal and conducts heat.
