Wangan Midnight [Japan Import]

Got it faster than expected and faster than another game i ordered from Ebay out of japan even with all the shut downs thats been going on. Played it for awhile and it works great on my American ps3 will definitely be using this company in the future they are awesome. Definitely a must have for any wangan lover. <3 thanks :)

Great Wangan Midnight game.. i expected it to be almost like the arcade game i play for $1. dollar. at fun factory. It didn't really match up to the arcade one i play with a card and upgrade like the one at fun factory maximum tune. i wish i had the option to choose the car i want to drive and upgrade it every time. in the story mode u use the Z car alot i got this only for a day and i just finished the first stage.It has most of the subtitle and language speaking in Japanese. however it has some words to understand to play the game like when selecting the game to play arcade/story mode, and also it says the words in english some helpful when navigating through the so called JDM imported game.it still has the comic feel. i wish i could play it like the maximum tune arcade fun factory version though. the controls using a ps3 controller are pressure sensitive giving it gas etc. the game has the engine temp overheat gauge also. you can't just rev the piss out of the motor of your car running wide open throttle. that thing will slow down and blow. You also overcome some obstacles such as other cars in the way while you are street racing.Ive had also played the tokyo extreme racer series. I enjoyed the first series from ps2 to ps3. This game feels like an upgraded version of the tokyo extreme racer games, but without the free roam capability. It has the same game maker GENKI. i wish they made this game free roam like the TXR series. You can't cruise the whole game trying to flash lights at other vehicles on the road and pick random races. battling other street racing gangs. This game has cards you can earn and gain after matches or finishing some quests. It has the street racing feel to it too. After you finish the first stage there are another stage in story mode you can play. The bad part of this game is it is in japanese i wish they made a english version so i can understand what they are saying or at least have the subtitles in English.Overall i enjoy the game. I would recommend this game Wangan midnight fans and street racing fans.

Love watching the anime series. Always see this game cabinet at the arcades out in town. At the time when I bought this it was going for 4500 YEN.

難易度設計が一見理不尽なので1点や2点の人も少なくないと思いますがシステムや攻略の癖が見抜けると全シナリオのプラチナクリアは無理ではありません。車種が少なかったりUIが良くなかったり挙動がアーケードだったりと車ゲームとしての欠点は少なくないですが原作好きにはオススメ、首都高でドライブしたい人にもおすすめです。首都高バトルの雰囲気を味わえるだけでも本作には上記欠点をリカバリーできる魅力はあります。攻略のコツとしてはぶつからずに走ること、マメにカードを入れ替えることです。プラチナを積み重ねてスロットを6個使えるようにしてエンジンスワップできるようになれば全シナリオのプラチナクリアは目の前です。逆に言うと初期の頃のプラチナ取得が一番難しいかもしれません、プラチナの条件もはっきりわかるわけでは無いですし。表面的な理不尽設計もそこそこやりこみできる悪くないシステム設計だと思います。
