Works great. Easy to install.
This works really good at dampening the sound inside my car. Tore apart the rear section of my new Bronco to quiet down road noise. Easy to install. Cut with a razor. Roll over it for firmer adhesion.

Unbelievable sound/vibration reduction on an MR2!
I drive a 1989 Toyota MR2. This vehicle happens to have the engine, and transmission in the middle of the car for weight distribution purposes. They car idles at 2000 RPM when cold, which produces a tremendous amount of noise and vibrations. Also on the road, especially the open highway, they car SCREAMS doing 65 mph at 4000 RPM. Something had to be done. BOOM MAT. I lined roughly 40% of the engine lid surface area with boom mat, and the results are awesome. I had plenty of boom mat left, so I applied it to various parts of the engine bay's panels. Perfect. Now the car is quiet and smooth. I can now hear the air coming out of my vents, and other little things inside the car that I could never hear before. I highly recommend this product for sound and vibration dampening purposes. It's easy to mold, cut, and sticks to anything. Just make sure the surface is dirt free, and you're in business. I used sheet metal sheers to cut the boom mat for my application, then bent and molded it around corners, bumps, and dips. You can feel it firmly adhere to whatever surface you choose. This product is truly one of Amazon's best!

Other brand gives more mats!
I purchased these to use in a restoration for a classic muscle car. I loved the product, but for the price you don’t get a lot of mats. I was planning to make a second purchase and discovered a different brand called “kilmats” they are exactly like boommats, only you get a lot more for your buck. Both brands are installed and the car is good!In the picture for reference; the boom mats are black and the kilmats are silver. Both are equally the same quality!

Significantly reduced road noise, improved speaker audio
Worked great for 2012 Ford Mustang. Installed in door panels, under headliner, trunk, and rear seats. Significantly quieted road noise + added boom matt speaker cones.

Worked well for a good price
I bought this four pack to cover up the chassis under my rear seats due to the noise of the RWD drone getting a little annoying on long road trips. It was just enough to cover everything, and it did reduce noise! People in the back seat can now understand someone sitting in the front without having to strain to hear. While I didn't use these for a typical install (like around door speakers or subs in the trunk), I can say without a doubt that it was a high quality product and was painless to install. Just peel and stick, smooth down as desired, let mold/dry for about an hour if you want to be safe, and then replace door cover/seats/trunk lining/whatever.This may not matter, but only one of the sheets has the BOOM MAT logo imprinted on it, the rest are just unmarked plain sheets.I can also add that they have virtually NO smell, and they have stood up to 103 degree days without stinking up. I've heard cheaper sound deadners can cause a smell in high temps due to cheaper materials. This is just something I saw while researching deadners, and having no smell was important for my purchase.
