Very nice!
* Long, or, if you prefer, tall. Couple of inches more than standard gauntlet gloves. I wore them with a short sleeve T and they provided all the protection I needed. Granted, my roses are not 6 feet across.* True to size, at least in my size, extra large, men's. Expect snug.* Fully flexible, right out of the box.* Leading fingertips have extra, sewn on, protection.* Really protective. Trimmed freak snow storm damage from a dozen very prickly rose bushes, requiring a lot of 'interior' work. Not one snag, not one puncture!* Might be a little hot for some people and some applications but I wore them for an hour in 70 degrees (shaded) and was fine. No water retention. Can't imagine any glove doing a better job for what I needed, periodically pruning small to medium rose bushes. Probably a bit much for simple deadheading, a bit short for working 6x6 bushes but any longer and you're talking elbow length.

Great thorn proof gloves
After reading other posts, I was hesitant about ordering these, but they were the only ones in my size. They fit perfectly, and they are pretty much thorn proof. The material is thin, light weight, and very comfortable. I tried gripping a rose stem with very nasty thorns, and none of them puncture the gloves. The spandex material on the back is another story, but you are not grabbing stems with the back of your hands, and those areas are small for ventilation and flexibility. The gauntlets are even tougher. I usually end up with my arms all torn up and that will not happen with these. Again, I highly recommend these gloves if you work with any kind of plant with thorns/stickers.

For rose thorns and for restraining my cat
I got these for gardening, to handle thorns, and they make a huge difference. However they also work when I give my cat medicine she doesn't like. Then she tries to claw me, and these gloves keep both hands and arms safe. Hoorah!!

Perfect for poison ivy!
We had so much overgrown ivy mixed in with aerial roots of poison ivy. It’s a long story but the short one is, we were able to clear it all away using these gloves. We did not get any poison ivy on us. These gloves held up to some nasty brush, sticks, weeds, prickers, etc… Our hands didn’t get overly hot, but of course they did a little bit as one would expect. They are a nice long length to protect well above your wrist and well sized in general. I highly recommend these gloves. I included pictures of some of the mess we were clearing. Oh my. So much overgrowth!

Not fully thorn-proof and run small
These gloves are comfortable and the long cuff is helpful for thorny vines but they don't fully protect your hands from blackberry thorns. I am still tender the day after pulling up vines with these. I recommend buying a size larger than you think you need. I wear size L in most gloves but on these XL barely fit me.

Good quality
I bought a second pair for my son and the extra-large fit him. Also, the quality is good. He had hurt his hand with another product, and these are so thick that they gave a lot more protection.

HandMaster Rose Gloves
These gloves are very nice. High quality. They do an excellent job of protecting the hands and forearms without being too cumbersome. I only wish I'd remember to wear them everytime I should.

Does not match size specified
Purchased extra large doesn't even come close to fitting.

Arm saver!
A classy present for a friend who loves gardening. She said she really liked it and it saved her arms from thorns, unlike her previous gloves.
