Recessed 360 Degree Angle PIR Ceiling Occupancy Motion Sensor Detector Light Switch

Works perfectly. Used as a replacement for the pull light switch in the bathroom (Zone 3 only) and set flush in to the ceiling. The instructions are okay, but not particularly descriptive. My existing switch was a two wire, so these connect to the lamp circuit. You then need a separate permanent live to make the sensor work. If you're completely unsure, would recommend using an electrician. If you do it yourself, don't forget to turn off at the fuse box. We just need to get the timing right now, so it doesn't switch off when in the shower.

Bought to replace a surface mounted ceiling PIR. Works fine on a 6w LED downlighter at the top of the stairs. Only dropped one star because the adjustment screws (time and lux) are on the side of the unit, which means having to remove the fitting from the ceiling when initially setting it up.

This works really well at turning our front door light on automatically at night. I didn't adjust either of the sensors and our hall light doesn't stop it working. It even senses the car arriving on the drive.

the unit was easy to connect and set up but the retaining springs were weak and it took some adjustments to get them to function properly

Bought 2. Used to replace previous similar product. Instructions slightly confusing to me. But all worked well and we are happy with the end result which works better than the (more expensive) previous. Better control and response.

this is a great little sensor, i use it in my kitchen with originally an old tube light, but now with an led strip light. Like everything it needs to be fiddled with to set up the timings and brightness but now i am total hands free.
