Excellent Product and excellent value for money.
The media could not be loaded. AAfter having recently purchased an iPad Pro 10.5 inch screen I decided that I wanted to try a stylus / pencil type of item however didn’t want to pay the price that Apple were going to charge. So I looked in to this and decided to give this a try. The spa on the item seemed really good .The price is very reasonable and have taken some pictures of it in a n unboxing style. The item is really well presented in and is nicely boxed. On opening the box the pencil is nicely laid out and it comes with replaceable tips to use when the one that is provided stops working. This is great as I wasn’t expecting it to arrive with replacement tips as well. The item is easily chargeable via the lightning port on the top and is covered and protected as well. The great thing about this is the fact that it is not limited to just the iPad Pro I have also used this on my iPhone and my daughter has also used this on her phone as well so not only is it useable for iPhone and iPad Pro but can be used on other tablets as well which make it a better financial investment. My daughter (13 years old) has used this more than me and she absolutely loves it when shading in I have attached some basic designs se has done for her school homework, In her words … “This stylus is amazing.” I will be lucky if I get this back to use for myself! Fully recommend this item if you re looking for a good multi purpose alternative to the branded version.Attached is a short video displaying my lack of artistic skills drawing a fish but you get the picture so to speak! Fab stylus and totally recommend it.Andy

Mixed feelings
I really wanted to like this stylus but I’m still contemplating sending it back. I bought primarily for my iPad Air 2 that we now use for home schooling our 4 yr old and on that particular iPad it is great. I also have an iPhone 11 and a 3 week old iPad 8th gen which has replaced the Air 2. Again, it is fantastic on the IPhone 11 but it is absolutely useless on the IPad 8th gen. I downloaded a couple of drawing apps because, well, now I’ve got a stylus the world is my artistic oyster (I’m rubbish at art btw). Anyway, trying to open any app with the stylus on the 8th gen iPad is a task in itself, I have to press quite alarmingly on the screen to get a reaction. And once in any of the drawing apps it is a complete waste of time. It is very hit and miss at even drawing a line, diagonal lines across the screen are wavy (a common problem apparently). I then tried simple things like trying to browse web pages, entering notes, or using my calendar and in the end it became so frustrating I gave up. As mentioned I am considering sending it back but it does work on the Air 2, which is what I bought it for, so it would seem mean to send it back for the sake of it.I guess I’ll have to stump up the extra cost of the Apple Pencil 1st gen for the New iPad if I want to take the world by storm with my rubbish art talent.

Fantastic smart pen, beware iOS 3D Touch
I like to use products for a good period before writing a review. I've used this extensively for work since purchasing in February 2018. My thoughts below:I have used with iPad Mini, iPhone 6S, iPhone XR. My thought on each included below. This is the best pen/stylus I have used with touch screen devices. I've used others with the clear plastic disc at the nib and a flimsy rubber attachment. There are problems with these items. Firstly, they are often inaccurate, and involve you placing the disc down before the pen will write. I generally work outdoors in sometimes dirty/dusty environments in the film industry and have found that if grit or dust settles on the screen, the disc then drags the grit over the screen, between the disc and the glass, which inevitably leads to scratches on your device. This has a much finer point, almost like a sharpie or similar marker, and is a lot more accurate. As the pen comes to a rubber point, it does not grab grit but moves it out of the way as you move the pen across the screen.I have generally used this as a pen with the iPad Mini, sketching, jotting measurements and inputting details into intricate databases. It has also been very effective at annotating pictures through the markup facility on iOS. For this it worked great. However, I could not get the pen to interact with my iPhone 6S at all. I put this down to the phone having 3D Touch, however, disabling 3D Touch on the iPhone didn't get it to work. Interestingly, having just received a new iPhone XR, it works perfectly.Battery life is good in standby and will last a good few days with heavy use, but does charge very quickly using a Micro USB cable.Overall I would recommend this pen/stylus, having used it extensively for the last 9 months. I'm a genuine customer and happy to answer questions.

Not an Apple Pencil!
Bought this as a cheap alternative to an Apple Pencil. That is what it is, a cheap alternative.I am using on a 9.7 2018 iPad.It is really simple to use and charge, keeps charge for ages. Seems well made and came in a smart box.I can write and sketch with it. I use GoodNotes. To use in good notes you have to turn off the smart stylus function.Works well as a pointer, but brought really for note taking. It does work, if you have never used an Apple Pencil on your iPad you might be quite impressed, if you have used an Apple Pencil you will be a bit disappointed. It is simply not as sensitive; you have to push quite hard to ensure the writing is picked up which means it is slower and harder to write legibly, at least I found it so.I will keep as a spare in my bag in case I loose my Apple Pencil, but it won’t replace it.It is of course a lot cheaper, but in this case it seems you get what you pay for.
