I love this bike. It's very powerful, easy assembly, beautiful and it's a quality bike. I've put almost 100 miles on it. It accelerates fast so be prepared. I've only had it set on 1 or 2. It can ride 2. The seat is comfortable and wide, sometimes my thighs and butt are sore. I had a issue with the back brake and replaced the brake pads, however the company sent me a new wired back brake and replaced it but had to put oil into the tiny brake hole as it doesn't work as well as the front brake. I used baby oil for it and it works better. The company emailed me replies about the issue. It's heavy bike so be careful. Very solid. Green color is nice. It has turn signal, lights both front and back. The shipping is extra but I thought it was worth it. Truly a real nice bike.

The AMYET S8 is really fun to ride. I watched several You tube videos by owners and admittedly there aren't too many. but those who have it posted a few times and they all love it and find it to be the best at its price point. It took me and my friend A. about 1.5 hours to put together. No issues but we both thought 2 people make mounting the front tire and brakes easier. Everything lined up well and fit snugly. The heft of the metal frame is noticeable. The seat is generally comfortable after 50 miles. The step pedals for the second rider get in my way of pedaling when they are is the closed position so I always need to open them up for more room. Acceleration is awesome; front tire will spin in AWD mode so i generally start up in RWD and switch as I get going. Top speed is 32 out of the box. I have not fiddled with the settings yet but will do so shortly.Got my 2 adult daughters to ride it and they loved it. One has her motorcycle license and finds it very comfortable. My wife enjoyed it so much she convinced me to order a second one for her. We love pedal biking but these e-bikes are for touring a very hilly neighborhood. At age 60+ we need the assistance. I do some pedaling and like that this extends the battery up the hills, but admittedly I am using power only 90% of the time and love it. Suspension is terrific, battery life not as robust as advertised but the power is more than expected. No complaints at all and highly recommend. It also fits great in my Hollywood Racks Destination E bike rack which I recommend.One wish list would be a small metal rod at the end of the seat to attach an extension for a bag or rack. The one provided is plastic and is best for a plastic name plate or the like.

I did much research before buying this ebike and I have to say, I know I made the best choice. This ebike is amazing, Dual motors is definitely the way to go with these ebikes. The Amyet S8 has tons of off the line torque when switched to dual motor mode. It's fast, tops out at 33mph. The suspension is great, the screen is bright. I have already over 500 miles on the bike and it's given me no problems. The battery is extremely long lasting when using a low setting in pedal assist mode and even if I go only throttle and too speed, I still get about 30 miles on a charge. It's a great bike.. And looks great. I can't be happier. I recommend this bike to anyone looking for the absolute best value in an ebike.

I bought this e bike after doing some research and knew I wanted hydraulic brakes, dual motor and dual suspension. This bike had them all but let me tell you why they’re not good. The front forks blew immediately! They’re not completely blown but fork oil came out of the seals just by bouncing on it with my own weight to test the suspension(I weigh roughly 180 and that’s rounding up)The AWD, I don’t even want to get started on this, very disappointed as I paid a lot of extra money to get the awd because I wanted to off-road a little and I don’t see too many awd e bikes. So I was super excited to have this feature. Only to find out it doesn’t work. I opened my bike yesterday and the dual motors don’t work, only the rear motor.The brakes are the loudest squeakiest things I’ve ever heard as well. Super cheap, I will admit they work pretty well but they are so loud it’s embarrassing to use them on any bike path because everyone looks at you because they’re painfully loud.The bike is cool and fun but wow I wish I would’ve went with a different one. For the nearly $1300 I spent to revive this I am very disappointed and have received no response from customer service. It has only been two days so I will wait to see if they respond and help with the issue, I will edit the this review if they respond and help

Received bike earlier than expected date. Very good packaging, no damage. After the fairly easy assembly and charging the battery, my first ride put a smile on my face. Everything worked as it should. Fit and finish is great. Like anything new to me, it had a learning curve.Now over a month later and 22 miles, mostly dirt trails, I can say I really like this ebike. Throttle only is very smooth even at very low speeds. In two wheel drive mode, B, if I tranfer weight to the front, it went up all the trail hills. Wow! My brother has a single wheel drive 750w ebike and he needed speed to make it up the hills. I like the voltage monitor function on the screen. As I do not charge the Lithium battery after each ride. If it drops below 52v (40%), then I'll charge it.The brake light and turn signals are a great safety feature.The hydraulic brakes feel powerful compared to cable pull manual disc brakes.The dual suspension is calibrated just right for my weight, 167 lbs. Nice smooth ride on the bumpy streetsThank you Amyet for engineering such a great ebike at a very good price.ps//I would like to see a rear rack option.

Great E-bike. I have had mine about 8 months. I have had worry free riding. The bike has no trouble climbing up the steep hills. It’s also good for off-road use. The dual motor helps a lot in the off-road. It is heavy but it was made very durable. Compared to other bikes for its price it has many of the same features of high priced bikes. I get lots of compliments for the moped style look. The battery performance has been good. If you ride normal speed it lasts a long time. You will use up a lot of charge going full speed everywhere.
