The banged up part.., just adds character!
This is a be long story, so I will shorten it and get to the good part. I can’t say enough good things about Amazon and the Customer Service Agents…Understanding, no nonsense, solutions only!I have the machine I had been saving for so long.It was a little banged up, and missing something, but I did go with the USED REFURBISHED unit. It works wonderfully just the same… this thanks to Amazon.Awesome machine, we read the manual carefully and my son guided me and gave me the confidence I needed to actually get it to work.I love it!! Thank you so very much! 😌🙏🏼♥️

AN EXCELLENT ESPRESSO MACHINE FOR THOSE WHO EXPECT HIGH QUAILITIY BREWING.
This espresso machine brews wonderful espressos, and with the automatic frother, it takes the guesswork out of producing perfect froth. I THOUGHT THIS MACHINE WAS MADE IN ITALY, BUT LIKE ALL SMALL PRODUCTS, IT IS MANUFACTURED IN CHINA. IT APPEARS THAT ONE CANNOT. BUY A PRODUCT IN THE USA THAT IS NOT MANUFACTURED IN CHINA. DESPITE THAT, DELONGHI ENSURES THAT ITS ESPRESSO MACHINE IS BUILT TO HIGH QUALITY STANDARDS.

Honest Review – Extremely Disappointed with DeLonghi and Their Customer Service
Honest Review – Extremely Disappointed with DeLonghi and Their Customer ServiceI purchased the DeLonghi EC900M in early 2025, and from day one, it failed to brew a decent espresso. Assuming the issue might be on my end, I spent time troubleshooting—unfortunately, that caused me to miss the 30-day return window. Now, in late June, I’m exhausted after dealing with DeLonghi customer service twice for repairs. After the first repair, the machine came back with even more problems—it couldn’t even pass water through an empty basket.Their support has been incredibly frustrating: I’ve had to repeat my case multiple times to different reps, resend the same photos and videos, and respond to the same questions over and over. They clearly ignore email threads and show no real concern for customer satisfaction. If you’re considering buying this or anything from DeLonghi—be careful:👉 If it doesn’t work right away, return it immediately.Don’t waste your time and money like I did. After spending hundreds of dollars and weeks of effort, I’ve never had a single good espresso from this machine.

A Great Intermediate Espresso Machine!
Making great espresso drinks is definitely a journey with a learning curve. That said, I'm just getting started but knew what I wanted in a machine that I could grow in to and the De'Longhi Dedica Maestro Plus delivers. I'll jump into it:- Build Quality & Design: Sleek, sturdy, and doesn't take up much counter space at all. While some of the tools that you get in the box are on the cheaper side, the portafilter, baskets, tamper, and milk pitcher are solid and great to learn on. You can pull some good shots right out of the box that are as good and potentially better than what you'd get at a coffee shop. The machine is weighty, the buttons are crisp and tactile, and overall I do think this will last years to come with no issues.- Features: The thermoblock has you ready to go in about 30 seconds. Even quicker if you leave it on in standby mode. You can brew at 3 different temps to accommodate different roasts. While there are default settings for single and double shots, you're able to program the volume of water for each to have the coffee to water ratio of your liking (you'll need a good scale to get this right). The automatic milk frother works well, and I think serves its purpose for those who just want foam and aren't too worried about coffee shop level microfoam. That said, you can achieve a silky microfoam steaming manually, but I'm still working on it. The included double-walled baskets are best for pre-ground coffee that might not be as fresh because they do a good job at creating "crema".- Disclaimers: If you only plan on using pre-ground coffee, then you can certainly get by with what's in the box and not having to purchase extra accessories. If you want to use fresh, whole bean coffee and pull shots that have depth, different flavor profiles, actual crema, and compete with your favorite coffee shop, you'll need a good burr grinder and a scale to weigh out your beans and shots. That means spending more money, but can always be spaced out when you're ready to upgrade and take on the hobby.- Bottom Line: The De'Longhi Dedica Maestro Plus, while a bit pricey, has features that make brewing good espresso drinks easy, and great espresso drinks possible and the price can be justified for that reason. If you want to pick your own grinder, opt for this vs. the La Specialista. I'm happy with the purchase and look forward to many delicious drinks to come!

A decent machine
This is my first espresso machine. It was 50% off so I bought it. I enjoy the espresso and cappuccino coffees. The steamer works well, and once I figure out the correct measure of coffee and milk, the drinks are very consistent. It does not make hot water available for tea. But at this price it was a goodbye.

What a big disappointment!
Bought a Delonghi toaster oven 5 years ago and it is still going strong. I liked it so much so I thought why not their expresso machine, what a big disappointment! Everything went well during the unpacking and setup. I followed the instructions in the manual and then tried to make my first latte. The expresso worked great but failed big time using the automatic function for the steam wand. The milk would act like it was heating up but could not get the milk to swirl in the pitcher and ended up with just tiny bubbles in the milk. The automatic funtion for the steam wand would shut off thinking it was done! There was no milk froth and the milk was just warm. I tried to froth the milk manually, got some froth but still the milk was only warm. I must of received a defective machine so instead of replacing it I returned it to Amazon for a refund. I did not want to try another machine after looking at other reviews saying that they had similar problems even after they had their machine replaced. Bought a Breville expresso machine and I have to say it works wonderfully! It made the milk froth just like you would get from a coffee shop. Bought a Breville expresso machine and never looked back. I like that it has a pressure gauge to dial in a perfect expresso unlike the Delonghi. Kudos to Breville, a little more money but their expresso machines are known for their reliability. I just wished I had bought the Breville first so I wouldn't have to go through the painful return process to get my money back.
