Direct replacement for broken bulb holder - saved buying new lamps. Very happy.
I had 2 lights where the bulb holder was plastic and had failed. These have a metal bulb holder so will be stronger and more durable. They were a direct replacement and screwed into the lamp. I saved buying 2 new lamps. Overall great quality and easy to fit.

Satisfactory
These light switches are easy to connect to, but the plastic on the threaded area is quite thin and soft making it quite tricky to screw together without cross threading. Once assembled they seem fine in operation.

Versatile and easy to install
Exactly what I needed with the added comfort of being able to fit using the added clamp in the threaded inlet incase you didn't have a threaded lamp to attach it to. Even though after consulting the girlfriend over the phone when they arrived to ask her to check if they fitted and she was adamant that they didn't, but when I checked myself I instantly realised where she had got confused.

1 had a cracked casing, the other 1 was fine
The 2 came together, 1 had a split casing so cant use it. The other is fine.

Not always an easy fix for screw fitting bulbs.
Firstly the fitting is good, it does what I wanted it to.The following is what I discovered. Believed that changing a broken switch would be similar to changing that for a bayonet fitting bulb. Just a warning to look closely at how the part fits, to prevent any surprises in changing this part. Took me sometime to remove the wire from the lamp and the internal screw fitting, before I could think about changing the switch.
