I ordered a 35lb version of this bow for mounted archery. It arrived much faster than shipping predicted and was in excellent condition when it arrived. The bow is well represented by the photographs. There is a little variation between my bow and the photos, but it's just minor differences in the fur and skin color. The bow did have a strange smell to it when it arrived, but that went away after a few days. I suspect the tanning agent for the leather or the glue to be the culprit.I have been shooting traditional archery with both an English longbow and a recurve. The draw of this Tang bow feels similar to the recurve, but a thumb release suits the Tang bow better than the three finger release of Western bows.

I love my bow. It's everything I was looking for in a traditional. It has a nice feel while I'm shooting. Everything about it feels natural, perfect for instinct shooting. Definitely recommend buying a stringer for it; the natural recurve of the bow makes it pretty awkward to try stringing by hand.

Got the 55lb version, and it is truely a great bow its the gasyest bow i have now and has the accuracy to back it up, this is my first horse bow and im glad i chose this one, great price for the quality, have shot probably 150 arrows thru it and have only had it 2 days and it hasnt shown any signs of power loss or integrity loss, great bow thank you so much for a great product at a gteat price, comes with a great bowstring as well and a beautiful bow sock, great bow

Draws and shoots. well. Nicely assembled leather wrap and twine accents. The snakeskin arrow pass material did not last. Replaced with a thick leather one. No big deal.

Beautiful bow. Very smooth release and powerful as long as you shoot the right arrows with proper spine. I'm very satisfied with this bow. This is my first Mongolian bow.
