it IS spicy....
Okay, I was dumb and didn't see 'Thai Hot and Spicy' right on the front of the package, and I don't do a lot of hot and spicy anymore and usually pay for it if I do, but I said oh well, I'll try it, and served it over rice and was pleasantly surprised. Yes, it's spicy, but I don't eve care if it comes back to haunt me. The flavor is excellent. Would buy it again.

Tasty Bite Entrees are delicious and convenient (and spicy)
Tasty Bite EntreesYum! I first found the Tasty Bite Entrees at the Weight Watchers online store. When looking to get more I found the best choices and prices at Amazon. The variety has expanded and each one is delicious. Many are moderately spicy. I love the flavors but if you do not like moderately spicy food you might find these to be a challenge. One way to decrease the spiciness might be to add rice or some vegetables. They tell you to open the top about one to two inches and microwave for 60 seconds. Please follow the instructions or you will get burned. I have tried eating one meal directly from the package after the one minute microwaving and the food was very warm. What brilliant packaging. When I use up what I just bought I will definitely be back for more.

Spice levels are subjective
I saw one reviewer saying this product is crazy hot; it might be, for people who never eat spicy food, but it's milder than what I get when I order my food medium-spicy at Thai restaurants. And what spice this has does not linger like the spices of restaurant food - the mouth cools quickly. This stuff wouid probably put my sister under the table (she never eats anything spicy) while it would have me asking the server to bring me some crushed red pepper or something to bump up the spice a little. Even I do consider it somewhat spicy - it's definitely spicier than anything I've gotten out of any other pouch that I can remember, but then I think this is the first pouched Asian food I've ever found that bills itself as "hot". If you're accustomed to mild food, this may send you running for a glass of milk (water won't do it - what cools the overly-spiced mouth is protein, not water or any other non-proteineous liquid), but if you like your Thai food really spicy, you're going to want to augment this product's spice levels somehow. Again, I usually order my Thai and Indian food with a "medium" level of spice, and what is delivered is hotter than this, pretty much across the board. This stuff also is not pretty. You may want to warn friends before serving this to them - it looks pretty gross. It's not the nice creamy-looking yellow color with bits of colorful veggies mixed in that's shown on the package, but a uniform, unappealing brown. My first impression upon pouring this stuff out was that it looked...like something that had already been eaten once, if you get my drift. However, while it's not going to put any decent Thai restaurants out of business anytime soon (or ever), this stuff does taste good enough, in my opinion (love those crispy water chestnuts!), it does bring *some* level of real spice to the table, and it's insanely quick and easy to prepare. That's a recipe for me likely buying it again to have around the house when I want a proper vegetarian meal in the time it takes my rice cooker to make rice, and with essentially no effort.

Too expensive for average taste
I actually love this line of foods. Once, I ran across a Thai dish by this company, and wish I wrote down what flavor it was! I can't find it ANYWHERE anymore and had hoped this was it. But it wasn't. It's a bummer they don't have more Thai flavors and only focus primarily on Indian foods. (which are actually really good too, but I loved the one That one I found that I can't anymore!). It was a decent meal. Too expensive on Amazon - if you can find in your local stores for cheaper, do it. This one needs spices to be added, if you're someone who prefers more flavor and not just hot spice.

Delicious, if you like hot Indian food
Alas, it's not as hot as vindaloo, but still quite good. The packaging is very clever. Just open a slot at the top to let steam/pressure exit, and microwave.I suspect that my microwave (over 20 years old) is somewhat lower power. You might need to go 2 minutes, rather than 60 seconds to get it hot. That's no big deal.I don't know how it's done, but you microwave in the original bag. It feels metallic, but somehow, the microwave gets through.Clever and delicious!

Disgusting Flavor!
The product is incomprehensibly disgusting. HUGE chunks of baby corn, uncooked water chestnuts or something that has the consistency and flavor of a raw potato. and the peanut sauce itself is ultra thing and flavorless. a huge step away from the usual excellency of this brand, this is the one flavor you can avoid and be proud. or hey, get it and prank yourself with how awful it is. yuck! YUCK!! very gross!

Absolutely delicious! I love this product with instant rice and frozen meatballs for instant meal!
This is just delicious. In general I’m extremely happy with Tasty Bite Foods. But I especially love the flavor of this product bc I love Thai food and this reminds me of my favorite dish. I’m handicapped and have to be able to put together a meal quickly bc I can’t stand for long. This is perfect with Uncle Ben’s instant Jasmine rice and Cooked Perfect Sweet Italian meatballs. I can put it together with a side veggie or bagged salad in less than 5-10 minutes. This is just delicious.

Quick easy and flavorful!
I bought 6 for about $20.00 during the quarantine. The flavor is very nice and it makes a quick and easy meal. Overall a little pricy but if you like a nice easy meal over some rice this is a good product to try.
