Cetraben Emollient Cream 500g

Love this emollient cream as hydrates and also absorbs into my skin better than other emollient creams I used..great pump system by the way to avoid wastage of the product.

I've tried many different emollients. This is the one that works best for me. I use it in the morning and at night before bedtime.

My child has really bad eczema that flares up from time to time. We have tried many eczema creams but this one is hands down the best one we have tried. Its very smooth and moisturizing for skin. We love it.

The product was delivered right on time and it works very well on my skin…I will use it over and over again!!! How amazing 😻. Perfect for dry and sensitive skin.

I have been debating on this purchase for a while but if I had known it was going to be this rich of moister I would have instantly bought it long long ago! Makes my skin feel like it’s drinking water , moist , and soft feeling. I had been feeling dry for so long bc of winter and eczema but this cream is a life savor!

I have eczema on my arms and this lotion keeps the area moisturized . There is is no itching after I use it and helps with the appearance.

I’ve used this cream for about 4 or 5 years now for my eczema and it’s really good, in fact it’s the only thing that’s gotten rid of my eczema flare ups and in a fast amount of time depending on how consistent you are using it throughout each day. It can make you a bit itchy when you apply it to your eczema sometimes but most eczema creams do that anyways.

I suffer with hand eczema’s and I have tried all sorts of different creams, I saw this product on a tv commercial one evening and thought I’d give it a try, so after using it for a week my hands have improved a great deal,The itching has stopped which is wonderful!!I will keep using it for now to see how I go then isee my Doctor with the results.I would totally recommend Cetraben to anyone with this condition.What I can’t understand is why my Doctor didn’t prescribe Cetraben to mo before!

Not something to get too excited about but I do find this is very helpful for dry skin. Originally I was prescribed this, then when I ran out I found it was just as cheap to buy it on here and save the NHS some cash :) Soothes dry and sensitive skin really well.It is an emollient - there is nothing more "medicinal" in here - but it does the job perfectly well. Only caution is that it is paraffin-based; be aware with regard to naked flames etc. It probably should say something about this on the packaging but, as of Jan 2018, it doesn't. Fine as long as you are aware of it.

I have suffered from eczema for years now and have tried a fair few creams. Steroid cream on prescription works but in the long term it's bad for your skin. Doublebase from the doctors worked but I didn't want to have to go the doctors everything (although I think you can buy it). This stuff is amazing and it actually works. My hands are really bad at times with very dry skin and paper cut like cracks in my skin which lead to bleeding. Ever since I've started using cetraben I've seen a massive improvement to the point where it doesn't even look like I have eczema. Put this on every night before bed and let it do it's job over night and your hands feel so much better the next day. It lasts a long time and is reasonably priced. I wouldn't want to be without this cream now.

The positives:I have very dry and sensitive skin, so got this unperfumed cream to help it stay soft. It works very nicely as a base for essential oils. I put 3-4 drops of lavender essential oil in my palm and then pump out some of this cream to mix it with and apply to my face before sleeping. So this helped with both: falling asleep (I used to have trouble with this) and keeping the skin soft and unblemished. Since the cream is a bit 'dense' and heavy, the oil also helps to dilute it and make it easier to rub in.This is a good sized bottle: it's lasted for a year and is only 1/4 empty. So the bottle probably lasts for at least 2 years, depending on how much you use it.A very useful detail in the design: the bottle has a nozzle which twists to lock, which means I can keep it in my bedside drawer without worrying about accidental spills.On the downside:Have to say the cream works nicely overnight, but skin is still dry after the next time I've taken a warm shower - so doesn't make that much of a difference to skin moisture when used long term. Can also be a bit greasy to put on in the morning before going out.
