Perfect for making a new heat shield for your Yamaha 1200 1250 engine
This is a great product. It is easy to use and cuts easily and sticks great too. In restoring my Thunder Roadster race car, I was trying to find a new carburetor heat shield. I learned they were discontinued by Yamaha and that N.O.S units were $175.00 if you could find one. The metal part of the shield and the rubber sheet was in good shape, however the aluminum shield was junk. I took it apart, cleaned the metal and rubber parts and used this great product to make a new one. You cannot go wrong with this product!

Worked Great Under My Harley-Davidson Seat to Reflect the Engine Heat
Anyone who has driven any Harley-Davidson knows how hot the seat and your privates get. I saw this, read many reviews, and decided to try it. It was expensive, but easy to install to the underside of my HD seat and it worked great in reflecting the engine heat from the seat.

Thermal Wrap Helps Deflect Radiant Heat
Good product when used within its limits. The material is rather thin, sort of equivalent to disposable aluminum baking pan gauge metal with super sticky flypaper on the back side. You can apply it to surfaces that you'd like to help deflect heat, but DO NOT allow it to directly rest upon the hottest parts of the engine or exhaust; RADIANT heat is deflected, but CONTACT HEAT will damage lots of materials, even if the damage is gradual. The material tends to curl onto itself when you peel off the adhesive revealer paper, so peel slowly and in warm environments. GLOVES are helpful to keep from polluting the adhesive. If you cut two pieces and stick it adhesive-to-adhesive, you can create a pretty thick shield that you may then wrap around critical tubes/wire bundles closer to the engine and provide maximum thermal protection. Secure in place with stainless steel zip ties for best results!

Can't go wrong with this stuff.
Super easy to work with. Wrapped my Airfilter box and intake ducting with this stuff. Works great, can feel a difference to the touch. Everything wrapped in the stuff just feels much cooler as the heat is being deflected and described.

Works amazing
I put this on a temporary panel outside of some ladder bookcases that are 6" from my emergency back up wood stove and the surface is cool to the touch. Prior to installing it the shelves got really hot so that's why I added a barrier. Works amazing. Super sticky and rolled out easy with a squeegee on the rough side of melamine. No odor too!

Unusual application works perfectly...
I used a 24” X 24” sheet to protect the wallboard behind a Cusinart Air-Fryer. Powerful heat exhaust (up to 450 degrees F.) It’s attached by clips to the back of the cart the fryer is on, so I can’t speak of the adhesive. Works perfect for my situation.

Folded, not a roll of reflective material!
The product was folded into the package in the picture! From the pictures in the listing I assumed it would be on a roll with no creases! The product will work fine, but it is not visually appealing! The listing is ambiguous! Sheet equals folded with creases

Conducted ambient test, 400 upto 1000 degree F My self before installing over the engine of Diesel RV. Glue melted but the foil didn't even loose it's shine. This is safe near extreme heat .
