I wanted a way to increase my weight capacity on my INSPIRE FT1 and I found it. Great for rows and pulldowns. I will say make sure each all 3 pieces is screwed in tightly. If not the bolt part that screws in to the middle piece will bend slightly during use while having it connected to both weight stacks. Lesson learned.

I mainly bought this for the two detachable padded end pieces to use for golf specific workouts on cable machines or with resistance bands. Also great for challenging your grip by using a rod instead of a handle for certain movements.As a bar the middle d-ring type connection can by a little awkward. Always seems to end up pointing straight at my chest so I have to make a point not to poke myself with it. Doesn’t feel super sturdy but for the price I would’ve bought it just for the end pieces.

For the price it is tough to beat. Very versatile having 3 attachment points and a comfortable grip material. however, I am not so sure about the sturdiness. It says it can be loaded to 800 pounds, but just doing my reps on a cable/pulley system with around 200 pounds, it feels like it is bending a little after about 10 workouts. And, it is definitely flexing a good bit during use, making me a tad nervous. The perceived residual bend is pretty minimal so far, and since the middle is a joint it is tough to tell if it is indeed staying bent. Only time will tell if it holds up, I suppose. Hoping it does, because I do really like the bar.
