Beautiful.
Very white and platinum is shiny bright. Beautiful for the price. The dinner plate is not big but the it's in the description when you buy them. All good. I love the

Exquisite Set!!!
Sometimes you are obviously taking a chance when you buy this kind of item online without seeing it in person first. Bought another set previously that I had to send back because it just didn't look as nice in person. They came and picked it up because the top plates were broken and it was too heavy to take to the post office. But this set! Absolutely exquisite. Every dish perfectly made, not a single problem. The platinum was beautiful. I use these dishes every day, very hardy set as long as you just use common sense and you're careful. Washes easily. Looks stunning whether you're doing a casual table or formal. Very Satisfied!!!

This is a nice set. I had a hard time being objective because I received a couple defectives (dark gray marks on platinum) that I could not remedy with cape cod polish or barkeepers friend. So I could not stop staring at those defections. These plates are most glamourous in bright lighting where the platinum can really shine. It does look like jewelry on the plates. The white background is creamy, smooth white and they feel very strong. These are thick pieces and I don't mind that. It makes them feel substantial. For the price this is a really pretty pattern. I don't mean to insult or condescend to it by saying that, I'm just saying that this is half to two thirds the price of other settings that are similar but perhaps a little bit (or a lot bit) refined. I haven't seen them in person so I don't know, but this is very pretty. I've now used them instead of my oneida basket pattern dinnerware recently because these stand out more and I feel more proud to use them.I do plan on owning other patterns, though. I have some royal crown derby regency & green panel off craigslist that I got for a real steal. I really like some wedgwood and lenox patterns as well. I am not sure I would pick this pattern if I only wanted one set....just because it is so hard to choose. I have not seen the wedgwood or lenox ones in person though. As long as you don't get any defective pieces and you don't expect too much out of it, I think you will be happy with it. What I mean is that there is more to dressing a table than just the dinnerware. There is the table/ tablecloth, candles, centerpieces, surrounding decor and of course the food. If you serve this in the right lighting it does impress.I just wish I could trade these defectives for good ones! (Can't do it. I paid 99 for the service for 4, and the seller included 4 bowls as well which were not advertised. One of them did break. I also ordered the one place setting from amazon and the packing (just the noritake box in a box) was abysmal. The cup broke in that shipment Because I did not pay the "full" sale price but bought "used" my only options for these are to return. In the future I think I will just pay the full sale price.
