After I bought this thing, I stuck it in my backpack which is equipped with an external USB connection for connecting to a charger just like this...and promptly forgot it.About six months later, digging in the laptop I found it and pressed the power indicator button expecting it to show one or two bars missing but nope! Full power.Additionally when using this to recharge my Android or my wife's iPhone after a days use out camping, there are still a full four bars of energy left. Only time I saw this thing go down a bar in capacity was after a recent camping trip where it fully charged my wife's phone TWICE and mine as well one time.The one minor issue I have is the charging speed. It isn't great, taking over an hour for 50%...longer still if you are using it at the same time, of course.I'm buying a second one for the kids to use on our upcoming week long trip to the middle of nowhere. The ability to charge two devices at once is handy!

When my husband asked me to order this i was a little Leary, but once i had them in hand, i was pleasantly surprised. amazing quality, Great charging, I took it in on a lengthly trip to see how it performed, as my cars charging port doesn't work. I grab my cord plugged in my phone threw the solar panel power bank on my console where it was getting sun and put my phone in my cup holder and in 10min span my phone went from 12% to 45%. Its a thick unit so no worrying about being flimsy and cheap. it is sturdy and very well made. My only suggestion is maybe add a stand as an option Its huge size wise its about the size if my foot i wear a size11w in women's. pic as proof

The capacity of the charger is big. I was not quite able to charge it to the full 4 lights with solar power, and had to use the USB-C cable to charge. But I plan to use this in the car on the dashboard for emergencies, and am confident that I can use it to sustain my phone when I forgot to charge it. I would pay special attention to put it away when parked in the sun on a very hot day to prevent it from overheating. The bright flashlight included is a bonus and helps save space in my car.

I bought this to use as a backup/emergency power source for camping. Like any other solar powered device, it takes several hours to fully charge in the sun and charges best when in full and direct sunlight. What I really like about this unit is how much power it stores and how well it's built. On a recent camping trip I tested it out and I can charge my phone from 0% overnight with this unit and still have it read as fully charged in the morning. Then I put it out in the sun to charge up the power it used and I was good to do it all over again at night. I dropped it on a rock from ten or so feet in the air when hiking and it survived the fall just fine. The flashlight is a nice bonus for an item like this that I mostly have for emergencies. This is something anyone should have in their emergency kit.

The only reason it's a 4 star is I have really had a chance to really test it out. That said, I've had another manufacturer. The battery failed badly. It stole up inside the case. This unit resided in my laptop bag. I'm retired. It was never in the heat of my car. I had it in the bag to power my tablet and phone in emergency. That company wouldn't stand behind their product. This wasn't abuse. It was a failed product.This product is larger and heavier. It has a larger battery. It has more power output. It's easier to use the flashlight, which is an actual flash light, not a cellphone imagined light. It is brighter. I am looking forward to being able to power my phone and tablet up with this. It seems to be a solid unit.After I've had some time using it, I'll come back and edit my review.
