This saved us from going bankrupt.
It's kind of embarrassing to admit this but my wife had a Sonic Ice addiction. Every other day another bag of ice. At first it was no big deal, it didn't cost that much. But over time they kept raising the price. Yup, like a street dealer - affordable to get you hooked and then they drain your dry. I estimate we were spending about $80-100 A MONTH ON ICE.Then I saw this ice maker. It paid for itself in about 6 weeks. Okay, she's still got the tiny crunchy ice addiction, but we can afford it now. And, as so often happens in cases like this - now I'm addicted too.

You may not have a warranty
It started out great. In fact so good that I bought one for my home and one for my office. Then the one I purchased on December 20, 2024 started making noise and then it started squealing and not making ice at all. I understand that there is a one year warranty but I cannot seem to find a contact number. The ice is great but the make may be junk.

LOUD CLICKING SOUND AFTER 1 MONTH
The media could not be loaded. We already had an icemaker that was a little bit quieter than this one, but would drop the bullet shaped ice cubes. Worked well, but we saw this one that made smaller cubes and had good reviews for being quieter. This thing worked great for about a month and then started with this repetitious clicking noises. Sounds like it's from the turnstile hitting something. The ice is great, but it runs and makes this clicking noise for hours on end until the ice is filled up. If you scoop some ice out, it'll restart again and the clicking noises happen again. Very loud and out of return windo
